Today, with a population of more than 5,000, the face of Sharon Township is changing rapidly and includes three industrial parks along with a myriad of assorted businesses. Rob graduated from St Edward High School in 1986 and the University of Akron in 1989 with a degree in AAS Fire Protection Technology. Rob began his career with the Sharon Fire Department shortly after moving here in 1995. In 2002 Rob became Captain and in 2003 he became Sharon’s Fire Chief, a position he still holds today. Along with his many duties as Chief here in Sharon, Rob has also been employed by Shaker Heights Fire Department since 1989 and has been Lieutenant there since 1999.
Rob and Anita were married in 1994 and have two children, Nicholas and Samantha.
